Matter of fact, I was able to take some really crisp shots which weren’t possible without this gimbal when I initially got my hands on my brand-new Sony A7iii. Even for a professional-grade photographer and vlogger, I used to struggle in dim-lit situations, however, the Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) capabilities of this gimbal have been no less than a Godsend and have helped me drastically.
To top it off, it works by automatically focusing on solid objects with up to a 14-meter range through its top-of-the-line laser detection system which has a whopping 43200 points that automatically compensates the camera sensor to accurately determine the distance in split seconds.

I even tried pushing its boundaries by hooking up multiple external flashes, microphones, and even a heavier prime lens on my Canon R6, and I barely had any jitters even when I ran on uneven terrain outdoors.
As for wildlife photography, with the 70-200mm f/2.8L hooked up to my camera, I was able to focus and snap some gorgeous photos without dealing with vibrational issues as the multiple dimensional adjustment ensures peak accuracy and stability at all costs.

The DJI RSC2 is easily one of the best gimbals for Canon R5 since it compliments my videography, especially in scenarios where I am using lenses without a vibration reduction feature. When Supersmooth mode is toggled on, the results garnered feel extremely fluid with professional vibes to it.
If you are a rookie or a casual photographer who wants to create an impressive portfolio on your social media or simply wants to create luxurious content for your channel to attain quick views, there is no better option than opting out for the DJI RSC 2.

Hats off to the Chinese-based Manufacturer, FeiyuTech that took a revolutionary approach in designing a scorpion-shaped gimbal, giving birth to Scorp C which has staggering stability and can be used even by solo photographers.
Versatile & Easy to Use
When it comes to finding the right gimbal for the Nikon z6 ii, the Scorp C can be easily shortlisted due to its over-the-top convince factor such as having a specialized Arca Swiss Quick Release plate that fits the Nikon Z6 ii like a glove.
No need to invest in external adapters or buy an expensive quick-release plate, professional photographers can seamlessly switch to the handheld mode in split seconds, especially during a video shoot without needing to break immersion or pause the videography session.
Mini Tripod
To top it off, it even has a maximum payload limit of 5.51 lbs and if you are struggling with finances, you can opt out of its mini tripod to keep it on the ground and record solo shots seamlessly.
However, this mini tripod should only be used for temporary purposes, so make sure you don’t overdo the accessories department by keeping an eye out for the payload threshold.
Battery Life
Peak portability is Scorp C’s strongest suit, in fact, it overshadows the competitors by easily superseding them through its humongous 2500mah battery which allows you to cover more than one session on a single charge.
And if that doesn’t captivate your attention and makes you fiddle in your pocket for your wallet, wait till you hear about its fast charging capabilities.
The Scorp C triggers all the green flags for being awesome since it has a whooping fast charging capability of 18W, allowing you to top up the battery reserves in less than 2 hours, so you can dive back into action in no time.
Pros
- Ergonomic Design
- 13 hours Runtime
- Supports 18W Fast Charging
Cons
- Lacks Touch Input
2. MOZA AirCross 3
- Max. Payload: 7.1 pounds
- Battery Life: 15 Hours (Non-removable, 3500 mAh)
- Charging Time: 1.4 Hours (Supports Fast charging - USB-C Input)
- Connections: Bluetooth 5.0, WIFI, USB-C
- Display: OLED Built-in Screen
- Smartphone App: Yes
- Warranty: 1 year
- Weight: 3.3 Pounds (All Accessories included)
A heavy-duty gimbal designed specifcally for Nikon Rigs with multiple accessories hooked up to it, the Moza AirCross 3 is a work of wonder.
Payload Capacity
Let’s dig in on its maximum payload threshold since I felt like it’s the most pivotal attribute of this gimbal. When using my mighty Nikon Z50 with its stock lens, my previous gimbal used to handle all sorts of outdoor action without breaking a sweat.
However, I noticed minor jitters across its vertical axis whenever I paired it up with a Nikkor Z DX 50-250mm, in fact, its own stabilization mechanism failed to deliver even substandard results.
My problem was exacerbated whenever I had to record while being mobile on my bike or simply trekking through rough terrain. So, I had to opt out of the Moza AirCross 3 as suggested by my cousin due to its remarkable payload capabilities.
Keep in mind that I am only convinced when I test a product in my lab for a couple of months, until then, I take word of mouth with a grain of salt.
Lo & Behold, after hours of experimenting and going back and forth with this magnificent gimbal, not only was able to record jitter-free videos on my 250mm Telephoto lens but it even passed with flying colors with my bulky studio grade Nikon Z 180-600mm F5.6-6.3 VR.
The best part is that the advertised payload threshold is 7.05 lbs, nevertheless, I even exceeded the boundaries and it held up way better than I could have expected, all credits due to the Tilt, Pan, and Roll Axis which automatically senses weight and compensates for both the camera and accessories attached to it right of the bat.
Dual Hand Mode
After getting to know its boundaries, it was time for me to test out its sling mode, which made me a little nervous considering the fact that I never had the experience to try out my bigger lens while holding the gimbal in one-handed mode.
As for the dual-wielding mode, my videography experience was extensive and it felt like I was recording through a studio camera since the cutting stabilization mechanism and multiple tracking modes lifted the burden off my shoulders and did most of the work.
Speaking of tracking modes, the gimbals also offer a variety of AI-based tracking such as face tracking, object tracking as well and vortex tracking which is inspired straight from the inception movie and had very little application in my everyday routine, nevertheless its nice to have such amazing features incorporated into the gimbal.
Pros
- Top Notch battery life
- Supports Dual wielding
- Outstanding Stabilization even during Traversal
Cons
- Average Rubber Grip
Bottom Line
Step up your Videography game to a whole new level with this remarkable set of Gimbals that will help you evolve your artistic skillset regardless of the brand of the camera you own.
No longer do you have to spend hours in the post-production phase, in fact, even if you are a rookie or casual photographer, you can now record super smooth cinematic shots right off the bat.
Although it is evident that some of these babies might cost you a pretty penny nevertheless, the value they provide overshadows any financial challenge you may have to endure.
Honestly speaking, to curate this article regarding the best gimbals for cameras, I took a pragmatic approach and tested them out myself so that you can get the most transparent opinion when buying them.
